Thanksgiving Assignment

The students have been given an assignment that is due on December 1. They need to measure and draw a map of their room, calculate the perimeter, area etc. The assignment should also include which SLE’s were used.
The next math test will most likely be on December 10th.

Hi Anthony,
You can do this two ways. 1) Round the measurements into whole feet (7X3) or
2) make the measurements into inches, 6ft.5in=6×12+5=in.=77 inches, 3ft.4in.=40 in., then multiply the inches.
If you want to make the measurement into feet and inches you need to divide the product with 12.

How do you multiply inches and feet?
6ft.5in. times 3ft.4in.
